More than 600 refugees from the Horn of Africa region have arrived in Yemeni ports since fighting between Ethiopia and Eritrea escalated in early May, the official Saba news agency said late on Saturday, reports Reuters.

It said 380 Eritreans, 110 Ethiopians and 113 Somalis had so far arrived in boats at Yemeni ports such as Al-Mukha.

The agency said Eritrean and Ethiopian refugees had been temporarily moved to schools in Al-Mukha and provided with food, water, medicine and milk.

Somali refugees have been moved to refugee camps in the province of Abyan, it added.
