We, the Webmasters and staff of Banadir.com learned the assassination of our great friend, Abdulkadir Yahya Ali, by six masked thugs in front of his wife and in front of their own home in Mogadishu. The assassination of this noble person has grieved us more than we can, and we beg to tender our heartfelt condolence to his family, relatives, colleagues and friends.

Truly, we live in a country where marauding gangsters murder innocent people in cold blood. There is one thing, however, that we would like to highlight on the execution of this brave man--that he was assassinated in front of his wife, we are therefore sending our heartfelt condolence to his wife and strongly condemn this heinous crime against a peace loving person:

"It is with deep grief that we learned the assassination of your kind and brave husband in front of your own eyes, and, especially that it is affecting your young heart beyond what is common in such cases. It is this sad country of ours, sorrow comes to all, and to the family, relatives, friends and colleagues with bitter agony, because it takes them unawares. As a result, we ventured to address you this condolence to the memory of your early fallen husband and our friend and colleague.

We urge all peace loving Somalis to stand firm and stamp out these assassins.

May Allah give you that consolation which is beyond all earthly power."
