The Suldan of Oman Suldan Qaboos bin Saeed received yesterday a written message from President Abdiqassim Salad Hassan of Somalia.

The contents of the message which was delivered by Somali Foreign Minister Ismail Mohamoud Hurre (BUBA) and received on behalf of the Suldan by Mr.Fahad bin Mohamoud Al-Saeed, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, were not revealed as the Omani News Agency reported.

The Somali Foreign Minister who arrived in Muscat Saturday,the 23rd December 2000, was earlier received by the Omani Minister responsible for Foreign Affairs Mr. Yusuf bin Alawi.

Present at the both meetings was the Somali Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.
