The UAE Minister of Agriculture Sa'id Mohamed Raqabani received this morning in Dubai Abdulwahab Mo'allim Mohamed,the Minister of Livestock,Forestry and Ranges of the Interim Government of Somalia, exchanging views for enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two Ministries .

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) also reported from Dubai that Jassim Mohamed Darwish, Secretary General of the UAE Municiplaities held talks yesterday (8/10/2001) with the Somalian Minister of Livestock and the accompanying delegation .

Mr. Jassim Darwish reitrated that the visit was in the framework of consolidating the fraternal relations between the two Countries, specially in the field of municipality services and laying down new strategy for the system of importing fresh meat from Somalia in accordance with the regulations and procedures laid down recently by the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
