His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received, with attendance of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace, Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmad and the delegation accompanying him on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait.

Official talks were held between both sides. Kuwait was chaired by Sheikh Sabah and attended by Sheikh Nawaf and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, while the Somali side was headed by Ahmad and senior officials in the Somali government.

Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said the talks dealt with ways of boosting bilateral relations in all domains. The talks were held in a friendly atmosphere that reflected the strong relations between Kuwait and Somalia, said Sheikh Nasser.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah held a dinner banquet at Bayan Palace on Sunday in honor of visiting Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmad and the delegation accompanying him on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait.
