A man was killed last thursday (06/04/2006) in Kaaraan district, North of the Somali capital Mogadishu. According to Keysaneey hospital, the deseased by the name of Ali Haamey, was brought to the emergency section of the hospital, his body riddled with bullets .

Since clashes between rival groups stopped fighting in Mogadishu two weeks ago, killings of local people does continue in Mogadishu. Just last tuseday, another ordinary man was gunned down near the main Kaaran market on the city's northern outskirts .

More than 70 civilians were killed during the last heavy militia fighting ,while many families were displaced . A ceasefire between the warring factions is still in place, but killings of innocent people is continuing unabted in Mogadishu.
