Vienna, Feb. 24, (BNA) The Doctors Without Borders Organization warned today of a vast famine in Somalia which will have dangerous repercussions on millions of humans.
German News Agency in its broadcast said that the organization's dietary expert, warned in a press conference in Vienna on the depletion of food and water due to delay in rainfall for more than a year.
The expert stressed that if rain does not fall the last reserve of water in Somalia will dry out. Moreover, 400,000 people had left their villages which caused a collapse in the family structure and the disappearance of a number of markets.
