Mogadishu,11th March 2004

The President of Transitional National Government of Somalia Abdiqassim Salad Hassan had reportedly called the Somali Envoys in the Gulf to come to Mogadishu for consultations. According to sources close to the TNG, the envoys are expected to arrive in Mogadishu early next week, and it is the first time since its formation three and a half years ago that the the TNG does such a move to recall back for consultations some of its envoys abroad.

The Ambassdors concerned are :-
1) Ahmed Abdalla Mohamed, The Somali Ambassdor in Riyadh,Capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2) Hussein Mohamed Bullaleh, The Somali Ambassador in Abu Dhabi, Capital of the United Arab Emirates .
3- Sharif Mohamed Omar, The Somali Ambassador in Doha,Capital of the State of Qatar.
4-Abdulkadir Amin Sheikh, The Somali Ambassador in Kuwait City, Capital of the State of Kuwait.
5- Ahmed M. Jama, the Somali Charge D'Affairs in Muscat,Capital of the Sultanate of Oman.
6-Mohamed Elmi Omar, The Somali Consul General in Jeddah,Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Although the Consul General in Dubai was earlier called and failed to come to Mogadishu, it is unclear whether Mohamed yarow will appear in this consultation gathering or not. The President of the TNG had promoted Mohamed Yarow to the Post last year, after the recall of the former Consul General Abdulkadir Hersi Ismail to the Foreign Ministry .
