Warlords are once again on the verge of collapse after weeks of fierce fighting with Islamic militia, which left more than 300 non-combatant killed and 1,700 wounded — many of them civilians caught in the crossfire. And Interim Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi recently fired four ministers (warlords) from his cabinet who were part of the Anti-terror alliance, leaving the alliance without any support in the government.

Mr. Qanyare , Somalia Home security minister has left his home at the Southern part of the Capital Mogadishu and his Militia became part of Islamic Courts after long consultation with his Murusade tribesmen. They concluded that warlordism is no more an option for them and he has to go.

Last week, court loyalists drove forces of the anti-terror group out of the Maslah area where Botan Isse Elmi – a warlord turned to Minister- had a large garage and checkpoint. Again his clan members applauded by his removal and he is gone for good.

Again Islamic militiamen fought and captured a strategic road junction, known as K4, the road to the airport and seized the historic Sahafi Hotel, owned by a member of the anti-terrorism Alliance yet the Habargedir clan did not side with him.

But when Mudulood;s warlords was holed up in a hospital north of the city and his strong hold in Balad city captured, they started making noisy meetings supporting their warlords who have been stealing the limelight from other warlords by massacring his own people.

After a long time in political limbo, Dr. Hussein Ahmed Kadare, said today “ it reminds us of the 1991 clan fighting ……” , where what happening is really far from tribal confrontation but rather a popular uprising between warlords ant their pray for 16 years who in the process massacred innocent civilians and destroyed once beautiful capital beyond recognition. It is one of the irony in Somalia that a such a person like Dr. Kadare who is well known for his intellectual thinking to come out of the closet and supports a blood trust warlord whom his hands are wet with blood?

Another irony is that, one time president at interim Mr. Ali Mahdi and his former lackeys are now hiding behind a mudulood smoke screen, pretending to be decent muduloods when they never say a word while a notorious Mudulood warlords were massacring their own civilian mudulood people in the name of false banner against terrorism.

This is one of the main reasons that the train left the muduloods behind, because they always ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
