Reports from Baidoa, the Regional Capital of Bai, reveal that the Ethiopian backed faction leaders meeting in Baidoa are trying to bring together their militiamen under a common command after being asked to do so by the Ethiopian Government.

Sources close to the faction leaders said that they are considering ways of uniting their force and convincing their militiamen to fight side by side in the future.

Reports say that Baidoa will be the base for the new coalition force of the Somali Reconciliation and Reconstruction Council established recently in Ethiopia by the Ethiopian backed Somali faction leaders.
