Reliable sources from Bur-Hakaba confirm that Somali Government Militias backed by heavily armed Ethiopian troops took over the town early yesterday morning after a heavy fighting from the forces of the Union of Islamic courts .
No one really knows how many are dead or injured but an official of Al-Bayan court troops by the name of Ilyas Hassan Ali confirmed that the fighting began at the town center ,spreading later to its outskirts .
Bur Hakaba lies between the Somali Capital of Mogadishu and the provincial town of Baidoa , the seat of Somalia's weak interim government. And this the second time the forces of the Islamic courts lost control of Bur-Hakaba .
