The newly named Foreign Minister of Somalia Mr. Ismail Mohamoud Hurre (BUBA) transited today the 17th of October through the United Arab Emirates on his way to Cairo to participate the forthcoming extraordinary Arab Foreign Ministerial meeting on the plight of Palestinian people and supporting their just cause in the face of the barbaric Israeli onslaught .

The foreign Minister who arrived early this morning at Sharjah International Airport was warmly welcomed by Mr. Hussein Mohamoud Mohamed, the Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Somali Embassy in Abu Dhabi as well as Mr. Abdel-Aziz Dawoud,the Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Dubai and the Second Secretary of the Somali Consulate in Dubai Mr. Mohamed-Yarow.

He was also seen off by the above mentioned officials at Dubai Airport to proceed on his journey towards Cairo .
