As was reported earlier,the Somali Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Ali Khalif Galaydh and the accompanying delegation arrived this evening (14th December 2000) in Dubai for a short private visit , in preparation for their forthcoming official visit to Italy on the 18th of this month .

Apart from the four Ministers of Foreign,Interiour,Finance and Reconstruction and resettlement, there are several other businessmen accompanying the Prime Minister's delegation, namely Engineer Abdulqadir Warsame (Allo ), Abdulcadir Issac Iidow, Ibrahim Mohamed Sheikh (Afgoye),Abdullahi Ali Afrah and others.

The Somali Prime Minister was warmly welcomed at Dubai Airport by a very high ranking official from the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates as well as the senior Somali diplomats from the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai .
